Married At First Sight: Meet The Cast From CHICAGO

You ever get the feeling that day after day you are on the same routine? Your days are predictable and you feel like there is nothing going on……and then you wake up the next day and you realize this lame, old routine is about to get more exciting thanks to Married At First Sight coming back?!

That’s how I am feeling right now! (I wish I wasn’t limited to 🙂 , 🙁 , and 😛 emoji’s in my blog because I’d insert the red-dressed dancer right here!)

Married At First Sight Season 5: CHICAGO

Ahhh, I am so excited about this season I could just scream! 🙂 This season of Married At First Sight matches couples in Chicago. And for those of you who are loyal MAFS fans, I want to let you know that they’re switching it up a bit this season.

Married At First Sight will be airing on Lifetime Network at 8pm on THURSDAYS.

Oh, Baby

Before I introduce you to the new individuals being matched, I am so excited to share that we have a Married At First Sight baby on board! 🙂 For those of you who may not know me and my hubby, Doug, – we were married on season 1 of Married At First Sight. (That was only a slight disaster!) …But, fast forward three years later and we are happier than EVER and we are pregnant!!!

We are FINALLY sharing our gender reveal party with you guys! (Again, I wish I could insert the red-dressed dancer emoji here – I think she is one of my favorites!) A very special #MarriedLife Episode — #BabyHehner Gender Reveal — is exclusively airing on FYI on APRIL 25th at 8pm EST.

Doug and I will be taking you inside our reveal party, start to finish. We entrusted my sister in-law, Kerri, with the results and she was the ONLY person who knew. I was completely SHOCKED by this gender reveal, so stay tuned for some genuine excitement and reactions…and the way we revealed – well, it was DEFINITELY a “Hehner” type of reveal! It has literally never been done before! 😛

So, Who Is Marrying A Stranger

Let’s start with the dudes:

Anthony D’Amico – This guy works in marketing and says he’s “ready for marriage and can’t wait to have a lifelong companionship and children with his future wife!”

Insider info: His longest relationship was a little more than three years.

Nate Duhon – Mr. Duhon is a manager at a car rental location and is looking or a wife who is “intelligent, ambitious and has a desire to have children and raise a family together.”

Insider info: Basketball fan, anyone? Nate played basketball for Chicago State University.

Cody Knapek – He “wants to be with a woman who has a great personality, loves to laugh and is empathetic.”

Insider info – Cody is super into fitness and working out. And he’s another athlete this season. He played football at Upper Iowa University.

Now for the ladies:

Sheila Downs – Sheila wants a Christian man who will be her “best friend, one that she can grow with and someone who will push her to be a better person.” She’s a director of operations for a local school district in Chicago.

Insider info: Her parents have been married for more than 40 years and she wants what they have.

Ashley Petta – This lovely restaurant manager says she is looking for someone who “shares her desire to start a family and [she] wants someone who is confident, charismatic, thoughtful and ambitious.”

Insider info: Ashlely’s been single for the last two years so she decided to put her faith in the experts.

Danielle Degroot – Into health and wellness? Danielle’s a Registered Dietician who “wants an intelligent partner who has a great sense of humor, loves sports and isn’t afraid to take on a more masculine role in the relationship.”

Insider info: Danielle is also into yoga for mental wellness.
