Spouse House: Proposal

“Will You Marry Me”

First thing’s first…can we please talk about how SWEET that proposal from Danny was??? I mean, seriously, it was definitely a tear-jerker, right??! Yesnaya looks like she’s on cloud nine and it literally makes my entire night watching these two!

But of course, there’s a flip side! And it’s a flip side that I can relate to. Signing up for an accelerated process like this that forces you to enter into holy matrimony quicker than anyone’s ever seen REALLY puts your loved ones in a hard place.

Proposal Goes Well, But What About Their Family

Watching Naya and Danny try to explain this proposal and they’ll be getting married in a matter of days transports me all the way back to the day I had to break the same news to my family…except there was no proposal and my “Danny” was a complete stranger who remained nameless until I said “I do” at the alter. How do you explain this type of proposal/marriage to your family and friends  There’s just no “right way” to do this!

But the fact of the matter is, they know what their hearts want and they can get through this together! No one believed in Doug and my marriage when we were Married At First Sight, but three years later no one questions us now. Love comes in strange ways – don’t doubt it! 🙂

New Couples On Spouse House

Ok, so when it comes to the new couples…I’m rooting for both of them! This plot twist comes up every time someone is eliminated and I think it really shakes the house up…in a good way! It’s like Married at First Sight meets Second Chances and I’m all the way here for that!

Speaking of… Darren and Ashley T look so cute together! I think that this match definitely has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see how it progresses!

Ben and Bri on the other hand…I really want to say they will go far, but it’s kind of obvious that Bri’s heart is still with Chris. I can relate, girl! Been there, bought the T-shirt! This is going to be so hard to get past, but I’m crossing my fingers for her because if there’s one thing we’ve learned from watching The Spouse House thus far, it’s that anything can happen!

Wedding Time

First comes … the proposal. Now, it’s time to plan the wedding! (And love will come along, too! I just know it!)

Ahhh! This is what it’s all about. I’ve been waiting for the first wedding ever since the premiere! And it’s everything I thought it would be: the nerves, the excitement, the tough decisions…don’t you just love it all??!

But after the dress is picked, the decorations are set, and each of their families are flown in…there’s still a huge issue in the way of Naya walking down that aisle…will her son and Danny’s parents support this marriage?

Well…it turns out…

They will!

They decide to support the happy couple and watching little Lance walk Naya down that aisle is simply the cutest thing ever!!! I mean…come on! I can hardly keep my mascara on here!

Unexpected Breakup

Ok, so the wedding was perfect…the reception was a dream…but what’s happening over there in the corner with Bri and Ben? Are they breaking up?

It kind of seems that way, but who can really say for sure? We did say…ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!

So while Naya and Danny are planning their ‘Happily Ever After,’ we’re going to spend all week trying to figure out whether or not Bri is dumping Ben for another chance with Chris!

Way to leave us hanging, right?

What do you guys think is about to happen?! Let me know in the comments! And meet me back here next week! I have a feeling we’re going to have A LOT to talk about!

What does it take to be a good wife? God knows I had some trouble figuring that out. My past threatened my future, but I learned how to stop that from happening.
