I think it’s safe to say that things are officially heating up in The Spouse House!
It starts off with Brianne breaking my heart! I can’t believe she decided to leave. I was so hoping that she and Ben could find a way to hit it off…or at least that there would be someone else coming into the house that she could make a connection with. But I applaud Bri for doing what’s best for her. I know it had to have been one of the hardest decisions for her to make, and she was brave enough to choose her own happiness…even if it hurt. I know she’ll land on her feet.
Tom & Ashley
Then, later on in the engagement ceremony, Tom and Ashley bring up a good point— what if these couples go out into the real world and it doesn’t work like it has in the house? That’s a legitimate fear and I think that’s something that all of them need to consider. I’m curious to see if there will be an opportunity to somehow “test” that variable. (Hmmm…Is that me putting a producer hat on here?)
Anyhow, something tells me there are more twists to be revealed in this series, so…you never know!
Seeing Ben and Ashley T leave the house so soon is incredibly sad. I really wanted to get to know them better, but the rules of the house are the rules of the house and like the experts keep reminding us…this is about giving the couples the best chance to find love. So I’m trusting the process.
And speaking of the process: as is always customary…three new singles are coming into the house!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS AT THE SPOUSE HOUSE
Ashley K
She seems super nice, but uh-oh— as soon as she plants eyes on Tom, the fireworks are going off! I don’t think this is going to bode well with Ashley Lauren…but what do I know? This show is so unpredictable, there’s no way I could ever see what’s ahead for these couples!
Scott
He seems so sweet, but sheesh…he’s into Ashley Lauren??? Oh, this should get really interesting, guys! It’s getting to the point where it’s every man for himself…and I have to say… every time I think I have a grasp on this show, it gets a little more wild!
Isabella
Aww, I can’t help but be super excited because right off the bat, Darren is attracted to Isabella. Andddd…she likes him too! OMG, could Darren have finally met his match?! I certainly hope so. He’s had a rough time trying to find a connection…fingers crossed, Darren!
MEETING THE PARENTS
OK, this show never ceases to amaze me. Jimmy and Kelli Jo are actually going to meet her parents in Arizona! This is so sweet! The more I watch, the more I’m convinced that this type of show is designed to actually help these guys find love!
Family is so important. You’re really not just marrying the person, you’re marrying their family too. I got really really lucky with Doug’s parents, but some are not so fortunate when it comes to their in-laws, so I think a trip like this really sets them up for a successful marriage. It helps them really make a grounded decision.
I’m soooo rooting for you, Jimmy and KJ!
THE CONFRONTATION
When Ashley Lauren confronts Ashley K about coming between her and Tom, you could’ve bought me for a quarter! I definitely was NOT expecting that! I mean…wow!
But honestly, what would you do? Let’s be honest…this is a competition of sorts. And sometimes you have to fight for love. They knew what they were signing up for so…hey! Let the games begin?
On one hand, I’m proud of Ashley Lauren for standing up for herself and her relationship with Tom. On the other hand, though, I do feel for Ashley K. She came into the house after everyone had paired off. That has to be tough.
Ultimately, Tom will make the final decision, but yikes! This is so freakin’ intense!
THE GREEN LIGHT
Yay! Jimmy gets the green light from KJ’s dad and it looks like we’ll be seeing yet another wedding in The Spouse House! How exciting! I can’t wait to see how he proposes and what her reaction will be!
Love is so beautiful… and there are few things that are more special to be apart of than a wedding ceremony! Bring on the gowns!
MORE CHAOS…MORE QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS!
Missy and Chris…and this issue they’re battling is a tricky one fore sure. They’re discussing their different perspectives on vaccinations for kids. Chris believes in them. Missy doesn’t.
This is a fairly common argument and I’m really torn as to what they should do to resolve it. But whoa…Missy’s solution? To leave The Spouse House?
Yet again, I’m stunned.
Will Chris leave with her? Will being in the real world help them get to the bottom of their issues? I have NO IDEA!
