Ok, here’s the backstory… for several months, I’ve been getting private messages from people who have reached out with questions like “is there a way to learn more about loving my postpartum body?” or “I wish I could be confident about my fat, cellulite, acne, and all my other ‘imperfections’?”
Prior to this, I had never considered having a digital course and space for all my girlfraaans to learn and grow together. Of course, it’s something I wanted — I had just never given it thought. But the more questions I got like this, the more my wheels began turning.
I started to see a place where we could lean on each other & learn to love our bodies AS IS. A place where we are around like-minded women who struggle with belly fat, jiggly arms, and cellulite on their thighs and are so sick of feeling “ugly” or “less than” because of it. Imagine being immersed with others who aren’t letting the diet industry define beauty standards and continue to profit off our insecurities and how that could help us all feel so much better about ourselves.
So like I said, it’s still raw. But you see the potential right? I can’t stop thinking about where a body positive course and community dedicated to loving our bodies even with the so-called “imperfections” could lead us in 1 year, 3 years, or 5 years from now. THAT’S what gets me excited!
Imagine how many lives could be changed for the better (children’s too, simply by being exposed to a new mind set around body image) if we all came together weekly with such a tight focus.
I’m admitting I’m not super clear on exactly how we can do this all, but here’s what I am VERY clear on… I can’t do this alone and I don’t have all the answers.
Currently, this idea is very rough around the edges. It’s definitely not perfect (yet) and there are many things we still need to work out. But the vision is there. And that’s why I’d love to extend an early invitation to you.
I want you to be part of this with me.
I’m thinking a private community where I send daily texts, do weekly facebook Q&A’s (but only with those in the community so I can actually get to know and truly support those who are committed on this self-love journey with us)., and I want to share all the ways I’ve learned to embrace my postpartum body. But like I said, I’m still trying to map it all out and I definitely know I cannot do it alone.
SO if you join me as a founding member and you’re willing to help contribute ideas on how we can make this THE best online program to support women who struggle with body image in becoming more confident and body positive I’m willing to extend a very favorable “founding member” price.
So even when we do roll this out to the general public at the higher price, you’ll have locked in the founding member price and I’ll have had the chance to get to know you and hear your story which I am really looking forward to.
The goal is to officially launch this on February 10th.
So between now and then, things will be happening fast and furious based on the ideas flowing back and forth between founding members. We are rolling out our Facebook group tomorrow so we can hang out and begin thinking of ways we can truly have an impact on women who struggle with body image and loving themselves. AND I will be going live with founding members at the end of this week!
With all that said, what I am clear about is how this body positive course and community will serve all of us as we make progress towards learning to love the one and only body we have. That’s what excites me and has me waking up early with my mind racing a million miles a minute. Years from now we’ll look back on this and say “do you remember when…”And guess what, that all can begin here today.
